K-12 Education ~ Wendy Taylor, Principal Teacher

Located at Milepost 104 on the Glenn Highway, Glacier View School is nestled between the Chugach and Talkeetna Mountain Ranges. The school services families from Chickaloon (Milepost 76) to Mendeltna (Milepost 143.) and provides public Kindergarten through 12th grade education. From our south-facing windows, we enjoy a breathtaking view that is unparalleled in the great State of Alaska.

Glacier View School offers students an exemplary education in an extraordinary setting. Ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade, our students have the opportunity to work in small, multi-grade classrooms which facilitate a low student to teacher ratio, as

well as ample opportunity for peer support. Glacier View employs two certified teachers and an aide at the elementary level (K-5th Grade), and two certified teachers at the secondary level (grades 6-12).
